All cores must be like for like. All cores must be complete and assembled. Partial or no core credit may be issued on steering units returned in the following condition:

-Units with cracked or broken cases

-Units with damaged mounting holes

-Power steering units with striped or broken hose connections

-Units with bent, broken, or twisted shafts

-Units with worn or damaged splines on either shaft (including shafts that have been drilled or welded on)

-Units that do not turn freely from lock to lock

-Power steering units that have been disassembled or that have had the seals removed by the customer

-Units that have been contaminated with water so as to be damaged by rust

All cores must be returned within 30 days, accompanied by either a copy of the invoice on which Straight Line Steering sold the unit, or customer's credit request displaying Straight Line's invoice number and the date sold. Cores returned more than 30 days after the date of sale will not be accepted for credit unless prior arrangements have been made. Cores returned to Straight Line C.O.D. will not be accepted.
